(50-65 days) Abelmoschus exculentus

A wonderful heirloom that has been a garden staple since 1939.  Selected to be free of spines and produce ample quantities of early ribbed medium green pods with a tender flavor. Best picked when pods are about 3-5” long.  In long season climates with warm temperatures plants can grow quite tall (5’+). Frost sensitive and best direct seeded as they can be sensitive to transplant shock. ~30 seeds / pkt.
