This perennial grows easily in a wide range of soil conditions and offers copious amounts of 1-2” blooms each year (including the first) that can be collected and used to make a yellow dye. Cut back hard with the first flush of flowers when just opened and you’ll likely get a second flush later in the season. An annual that grows to 36”; space 12” apart.
