Lunaria annua (90 days)
Money Plant is a biennial that is grown for the silvery green, flattened, disc-like seed pods. Planted in Spring, Lunaria blooms with clusters of lavender flowers and make pods in the second year after seeds are sown. Or, as with most other biennial flowers, sow in late summer for flowers and seed pods the following year. It is these coin-shaped pods that make it attractive in dried arrangements.
