Amaranth, Ellen’s Purple, Amaranthus cruentus (110 days)  

A productive and beautiful amaranth originally from Salt Spring Island Seeds it is a cross of Burgundy and Golden Giant Amaranth. This one is really fun - the seeds themselves are all white, but the plants are a beautiful vivid green and burgundy.  Grows to 4-6 feet tall it is a very easy to grow and process. A nutritious grain crop suitable to garden culture packets.
