Forb in the Apiaceae family hardy to zones 4-9. Yellow blooming umbels in June and July that attract butterflies to the garden. Direct sow in the Spring. The aromatic seeds and feathery foliage are used in culinary applications as a carminative and digestive. Leaves emerge as copper-red then change to bronze as chlorophyll develops. WGS
