Mugwort, Artemisia vulgaris

A member of the Aster family that grows between 3-6 feet tall. Mugwort is an aromatic herbaceous perennial with light, soft and velvety foliage. Flowers are small and dainty, sprays of Mugwort make good filler in bouquets or dried flower arrangements. Native to Europe, Asia and Northern Africa and naturalized in North America. Both the leaves and flowers are food for various species of butterflies and moths. Prefers sunny and fairly drought tolerant.
