An adaptable butter type lettuce that does excellent in the field or greenhouse. Has a light loose lime colored butterhead that grows to be about 5oznand 6-7” across. Heat and cold tolerant and is resistant to lettuce mosaic virus. This Dutch variety was judged the best Boston-type in the 1983 Rodale Research Center trials.
