Bright, shiny green leaves from a butterhead combined with the tall stature and heat tolerance of a romaine. Emerald Fan makes a salad or garnishes a sandwich. This lettuce was selected out of a mix of lettuce crosses from Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seeds in 2006 and then refined by breeder Jonathan Spero. OSSI
