Lettuce, Four Seasons (60 days)

Latuca sativa

Also known by its French name, Merveille des Quatre Saisons, this is a fabulous butterhead variety that hails, as you may have guessed, from France. An heirloom that was listed in Vilmorin’s 1815 book, The Vegetable Garden”, it clearly has stood the test of time on account of its tasty red and green well-wrapped, large tender buttery heads. Simply gorgeous.
