Bred by Frank Morton who explains, “One of our first original varieties based on a combination of ‘Salad Bowl’ and ‘Rouge d’ Hiver’.” This was a real standout from our 2017 trials on account of its upright frilly, red to green oak shaped leaves. Makes a wonderful cutting lettuce for dynamic and intriguing salads. Very handsome lettuce.
