Hartman's Yellow Gooseberry

Solanum esculentum (70-75 days)

While it not a Gooseberry its sunny yellow fruits are reminiscent of the cape gooseberry ground cherry.  Believed to be the same yellow cherry as listed by seedsmen since pre-1830s, this was reintroduced by the John Hartman Seed Company. Delightfully prolific lemon yellow cherry tomato.  With long clusters of light and bright tasting one inch round fruits. Plants grow quite tall with narrow foliage. Indeterminate. Heirloom.
