A wonderful brick red Russian heirloom slicer with 8-12 ounce slightly flattened fruits with a smooth skin devoid of the pleats and cat-facing that some large heirloom types can be plagued with.  Named in honor of the famous black opera singer, star of King Solomon’s Mines, 1937. Paul Robeson, an American, was also a Russian Equal Rights Advocate. Indeterminate.
