One of our favorites for a delicious and strikingly beautiful reddish bronze blushed Batavian. Slow bolting variety that can produce well-blanched heads in the heat with many shades of green splashed with crimson and fringed leaf margins. Can grow quite large. Central head is marvelously sweet.
