A very dependable producer of numerous 2-3 pound round, well-netted cantaloupes that hold up well in the field. Very aromatic and flavorful. Guaranteed to leave a taste impression! PMR stands for powdery mildew resistant, so they hold up well late into the season allowing the later pollinated fruits to mature when more susceptible strains are succumbing to mildew. Cornell University release from (yes, you guessed it!) 1951.
