Turga is a heavy yielding, large diameter, workhorse parsnip that produces sweet, tender roots.  It has been selected for generations for roots with minimal taper and no forking.  Parsnips will easily overwinter through bitter cold and still provide delicious nourishment for wonderful winter meals.
