Pepper, Aji Dulce

We came across this little gem that's originally from Puerto Rico via Rowen White in the Sierra mountains. It has the wonderful flavor and aroma of habaneros without the heat. This heirloom strain is known as Aji dulce, ajicito or ajíes and is prized for its plethora of small (1-2”) lantern shaped, bright red, thin walled fruits. With hints of coriander and black pepper they bring intrigue many dishes. Late maturing.
