Feverfew

Tanacetum parthenium

Hardy to zone 5, this perennial plant in the Asteraceae family grows up to 3' with light green foliage ad small daisy like flowers. Direct sow  in spring in full sun and sandy soil; 10-14 days to germinate. The name is derived from the Latin febrifuga which means fever reduced. A tea or extract is traditionally used for headaches and muscle and joint pain.
