Flax, Omega  Linum usitatissimum (90 days) 

Direct sow in spring after it has warmed up.  Flax is an easy to grow dietary supplement, useful in baking.  Very high in Omega 3 fatty acids. Produces a profusion of sky blue flowers on slender 24” stems.  Seed matures early in summer. Easy to thresh and winnow.  Seed must be ground or sprouted to make nutrition accessible.
