This is a really cool plant! Commonly grown as a winter cover crop, Pennycress can be direct-seeded in the fall to bloom and make seedheads in late Spring. Or, start in late Summer and transplant out to overwinter. Seed heads are a highly ornamental addition to floral arrangements.Can be used for cut or everlasting arrangements. Pennycress seed also produces a high-quality oil which has been used for manufacturing biodiesel. An annual that grows up to 30”. Space 9” apart.
