Callistephus chinensis (120 days) 

Cuts from this mix of purple, fuscia, pale pink, white, and cream asters always turn heads at the farmers' market.  Delicate, thin petals form a wild flower display reminiscent of a dense group of sea anemones in tide pools at the coast.  Sea Star Aster's strong stems hold flowers upright and yield approximately 20-30 3-inch flowers per plant. This aster benefits from horizontal trellising.
