Strawflower, Copper Red

Helichrysum bracteatum (90 days)  

An intense variety of strawflower with  burnished red bracts that fade into copper with a bright yellow center. Stands out amongst the other flowers in fresh or dry arrangements.  Flowers are double and about 1-2 inches wide. Highly branched habit, plants can grow up to four feet. Start seeds indoors and transplant in May after the danger of frost has passed.   Pair with Apricot and Purple Sunset for a bevy of beauty reminiscent of the evening sky.
